A legacy static and WordPress-era website rebuilt into a fast, modular educational platform with flagship guides and browser-based tools.

  • Built a static HTML foundation with shared CSS and JavaScript, secure-form compatibility and a reusable visual system.

05 · Lessons learned

The principle worth carrying forward

A successful redesign does not have to preserve the old site’s mental model. Sometimes the archive is raw material, and the most valuable decision is to redefine what the website is for.

A formal measurement plan would define the relevant baseline, conversion events, search queries, content engagement and operational outcomes before claiming improvement. That keeps the story useful and credible.
